A Festival of Remembrance is a wonderful and emotional acknowledgment of all our brave Canadian men and women who have served Canada throughout the decades. The evening features the Maple Leaf Brass Band from Ottawa conducted by Maestro David Druce, the beautiful voices of tenor, Christopher Coyea and bass, Alex Fleuriau Chateau and the choir of St. John’s United Church under the direction of Anne Landon. There is no more fitting way to spend your Remembrance Day evening then at this emotionally charged concert commemorating all that Canada has offered the world in times of strife.
Exact time and start point to be posted closer to the event.
The parade starts at St. Lawrence Intermediate School. It will then proceed west to Marlborough Street then turn left to Water Street then turn right and proceed to the Civic Complex where the awards will be given immediately after the parade.
